FEATURED IN LOCAL NEWSPAPER

From the village magazine to the Newmarket Journal, Harriet Mills is proud to feature in the local town and surrounding areas newspaper.

The sales for Harriet’s debut novel, Dear Brannagh, have continued to be steady but any extra exposure that she can get Harriet welcomes with open arms. With the country still in lockdown, there are so many events that Harriet had envisioned with the release of her debut title that have been impossible due to social distancing, limited numbers and closed book shops. She is extremely grateful to everyone who has purchased a copy online and she is ever thankful for her workplace for stocking copies and selling 300+ already.

Through the shop she has received so much support which continues each day, but a surprise came when the editor of the Newmarket Journal rang on Tuesday to interview her for an article that she was going to write. This phone call where Harriet was happy to partake in her first interview about Dear Brannagh was shortly followed by a photographer coming to the stores to take a proud photo of her with her precious first book.

She hopes that this feature will boost sales and awareness of her writing. She hopes it will spread the circle to more readers who don’t know her personally. She hopes that it will build a bigger community who will look forward to the follow up novel.
